RAL GZ 607/3

The mechanisms Galiplus 2, Galiplus 3,GaliCube and MagiCube have been RAL certified respectively to 130 Kg, 90 Kg and 110 Kg. The RAL German institute is part of the national system for the provision of quality marks that is widespread in the German industry and issues its own mark on goods of any kind as a proof of conformity to high quality requirements. Under observation and approval of the RAL institute, the industry itself establishes the quality requirements for the marking through the Quality Associations which have specific expertise on that particular type of product, in addition to defining the criteria to be fulfilled in terms of production both as to manufacturer internal quality system and to a program of external supervision through inspections at the manufacturer and sample withdrawals on the market. To obtain the certification, the mechanisms are subjected to static and durability tests. Endurance tests are performed with both tilt and turn cycles (15.000 complete cycles) and with side-hung opening cycles (10.000 cycles). Overload tests are performed nearby the cremone handle with door open by 90°, hindrance and impediment to closing. The conformity of a tilt and turn device to the RAL GZ 607/3 standard, allows the interchangeability of the accessories on windows and doors according to what is specified in the EN 14351-1 standard for the CE marking of windows and doors.
