CSI Oltre Bar, Push and Glass
The “Construction Products Regulation” (the CPR 305/2011) imposes specific regulatory fulfillments to all European manufacturers of devices for emergency exits. The Regulation states that these devices can be sold in the countries of the European Community only if they comply with the requirement provided for in the EN 1125:2008 standard. The compliance with these requirements is certified by the CE marking of the product, which is mandatory for all panic exit devices from April 1st 2003. The CE marking has been issued to Fapim by the CSI S.p.A notified body. (entity identification No.: 0497). Fapim manufactures Oltre BAR and PUSH panic exit devices suitable for installation on fire-stop, smoke-proo and standard doors.

The compliance with these requirements is certified by the CE marking of the product, which is mandatory for all panic exit devices from April 1st 2003. Fapim manufactures Oltre BAR and PUSH panic exit devices suitable for installation on fire-stop, smoke-proof and standard doors.

In 2009 we renewed the certification of our Oltre Bar and Oltre Push panic exit devices also in Poland at ITB, according to the PN-EN 1125:2008 standard, Polish version of the EN 1125:2008 European standard.

In 2008 we certified all the Oltre panic exit devices (Bar e Push) and emergency exit devices (Pad and Cremone) in Russia, at the “Centre of certification of window and door engineering of Moscow”. The tests, carried out according to the legislation in force in the country GOST P 52750 – 2007, include static and durability tests as well as tests of resistance in salt spray chamber. Besides the tests carried out in its laboratories in Moscow, the institute carries out periodical audits at Fapim facilities to assess production plans and check the conformity to its requirements.

Each file contains the declaration of performance – for each CE marked product – required by the CPR 305/2011, art. 4. Each document contains written information in the following languages: French, Greek, English, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, German.

The American standards UL 305 and CAN / ULC S132 specify the requirements for the manufacture, operation and testing of panic devices operated manually by means of a horizontal push bar. Standard compliant products can be installed on emergency exit doors without fire resistance characteristics. The standards in question specify requirements that are sometimes much more stringent than the European standard EN 1125: 2008 regarding the actuation of the bar and its length with respect to the door.
Finally, the test includes various actuation tests under extreme conditions of pressure and temperature.
